SRQ takes action: Due to a fire caused by a Turbine Aircraft at the field today, May 27th, the following restrictions
are in place effective immediately: No turbine aircraft will be allowed to fly until
further notice. We
regret this action, however due to the drought conditions we do not have a choice. Hopefully
no other restrictions will be necessary. We will keep you advised of any changes.
