Effective March 2008
1. Instructors will use the following priorities:
A.
Safety. Take control as soon as it appears the student is in trouble,
B.
Save the airplane. Take control as soon as it appears that the plane is in jeopardy.
C.
Teach. This is the objective, but priorities A, and B are more important.
INSTRUCTOR GUIDE
1. After the
aircraft is inspected, the instructor must fly the student airplane
before the student
does. This includes taxi, takeoff, trimming, and landing.
2. The
student must be on a Buddy-Box.
3. The instructor shall determine when the student is ready for
takeoffs and landings.
4. Each student flight is limited to a maximum of 15 minutes,
with at least a 20 minute break between flights.
